AabRahat Privacy Policy

AabRahat ("we", "our", "the app") provides on-demand water tanker delivery, IoT tank monitoring, and related logistics services through our mobile apps and admin portal. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text).

Customer profile: full name, house/unit number, property portion, delivery address, and GPS coordinates for that address.

Driver profile (drivers only): CNIC/national ID number, driving license number, date of birth, emergency contact, and vehicle information, collected during onboarding by an administrator.

Location: your device's location is used to set an accurate delivery address, and (for drivers) to share live location with dispatch and the customer only while a delivery is actively in progress. We do not track location in the background or outside the app.

Camera: used only to scan QR invite codes for sharing device access with another person (e.g. a tenant). Camera images are processed on-device to read the code and are not stored or uploaded.

Order & device data: order history, delivery status, ratings, IoT water-tank sensor readings, and consumption history for properties you own or have been granted access to.

Payment information: card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our own servers.

Support interactions: messages you send through in-app support/complaints, which may be assisted by an AI support tool used by our call-center staff.

How we use this information

To create and manage your account and authenticate you
To process and deliver your water orders, and dispatch the nearest available driver
To monitor your IoT tank device and send low-water or predictive reorder notifications
To process payments and maintain transaction records
To send order, delivery, and account notifications via push and, for time-sensitive events, SMS
To respond to support requests and complaints
To maintain security and audit logs of account and administrative actions

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to operate the service:

Stripe — payment processing
Twilio — SMS delivery for critical, time-sensitive notifications
Expo — push notification delivery
Anthropic — powers an AI assistant used by our call-center staff for support troubleshooting
Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, MongoDB Atlas) — hosting and data storage

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active. Order, payment, and audit-log records are kept after account deletion as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Your choices

You can edit your profile information at any time in the app.
You can control push and SMS notification preferences in Settings.
You can delete your account, or request deletion of a driver/staff account, via our Delete Account page.
